The 5th annual Backpack in the Park, at Piedmont Park's new air-conditioned Greystone pavilion was a great success! More than 1,400 backpacks filled with school supplies were collected! In addition to complimentary food and beverages, the family-friendly event provided fun activities for people of all ages.
For the Kid in All of Us launched a new partnership with Charitee Heart, a supplier of quality backpacks and other consumer items. The company donated 10% of all sales back to For the Kid in All of Us. In addition, Charitee Heart filled the backpacks with the recommended school supplies! To support your generous donations, they are offered special discounted prices for this event.
