Selection Process:
The Board of Directors will review all applications and select this year’s beneficiaries during the May 2025 meeting. If your organization is chosen, you will receive official confirmation by the last week of May.
🔹 Important: Applications must be fully completed for consideration. Incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.

Did you know that the cost of school supplies has risen dramatically? In the past year alone, prices have surged by more than 20%, making it even harder for families to afford the essentials. Nearly 40% of parents say they struggle to provide the school supplies their children need, and one in three families living in poverty can’t afford basic classroom materials at all.
Teachers are stepping up to fill the gap, spending an average of $820 of their own money each year on supplies for their students—but they can’t, and shouldn’t, do it alone. Without the right tools, kids can fall behind, affecting their confidence, motivation, and ability to succeed in school.
That’s why For the Kid in All of Us is dedicating this summer to raising funds for backpacks filled with school supplies. With your help, we can ensure that thousands of Georgia’s underserved children start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn from day one.

54,000 Backpacks
and Counting
The 2024 Backpack in the Park event took place at Park Tavern on Piedmont Park on August 4, 2024. We were able to provide more than 5,500 backpacks for children and families throughout the greater Atlanta Metro. To date, we’ve handed out nearly 54,000 backpacks.
